The Best Student Paper Prize 2017

Paige Pascarelli, a recent graduate student from Boston University in the US, won the Best Student Paper Prize at the Society for Terrorism Research’s 11th Annual International Conference held in New York for her paper, “Identities ‘Betwixt and between’: analyzing Belgian representation in ‘homegrown’ extremism.”

The Best Student Paper Prize promotes the work of postgraduate students throughout the world, in all disciplines, in the field of terrorism research. Paige’s paper will be published in STR’s peer reviewed journal Behavioral Sciences of Terrorism and Political Aggression in 2018.
