The Best Student Paper Prize 2024

William Arnold, a PhD student in the Department of Justice, Law and Criminology at American University (USA), won the Best Student Paper Prize at the Society for Terrorism Research’s 16th Annual International Conference held at the University of Central Oklahoma (USA) with his paper entitled 'Liberatory or Predatory? Gendered Perspectives on the Role of Women in the Weather Underground'.

The Best Student Paper Prize promotes the work of postgraduate students throughout the world, in all disciplines, in the field of terrorism research. William's paper will be published in STR’s peer reviewed journal Behavioral Sciences of Terrorism and Political Aggression in 2025.
