The Best Student Paper Prize 2019

Philipp Hirsch, a PhD student at the University of Cambridge in England, won the Best Student Paper Prize at the Society for Terrorism Research’s 13th Annual International Conference held in Oslo for his paper, ‘Politics as counterterrorism: the role of diplomacy in the West German response to Palestinian terror, 1970–75.’

The Best Student Paper Prize promotes the work of postgraduate students throughout the world, in all disciplines, in the field of terrorism research. Philipp’s paper will be published in STR’s peer reviewed journal Behavioral Sciences of Terrorism and Political Aggression in 2020.
