Best Student Paper Prize 2016
Sep 19, 2016Noreen van Elk, who is studying at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, won the Best Student Paper Prize at the Society for Terrorism Research’s inaugural Postgraduate Conference for her paper, “Terrorism and the good life: toward a virtue-ethical framework for morally assessing terrorism and counter-terrorism.”
The Best Student Paper Prize promotes the work of postgraduate students throughout the world, in all disciplines, in the field of terrorism research. Noreen’s paper will be published in STR’s peer reviewed journal Behavioral Sciences of Terrorism and Political Aggression in 2017.
